Equine Assisted Mentoring Through Horseback Riding
Students come out to the farm, learn to care for and ride a horse. We study God's word together, grow together, and build positive, long lasting relationships. Our goal is walk along each of our students, give them a hands-on experience with the horses, and show them how to live out personal and life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Weekly Sessions
At Wing's Shadow we offer weekly lessons to students. Lessons last 80min long and are offered Monday-Saturday.
Our goal is for each student to get hands-on experience with the horses and to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. We build strong relationships, focus on clear communication, develop problem solving skills, and discover Jesus through His word and working with the horses.
For skills, every rider will learn how to catch, handle, brush, and tack their own horse. They will not only learn how to ride and communicate with a horse but will have the opportunity to develop their skills in their desired discipline and compete locally with other barns.
Our primary instructor/mentor has a base in dressage and years of experience in hunters, jumpers, cross country, and ranch riding.
